They do a pretty good job wheel alignment. Not perfect but overall pretty good.

Thank you Darrin.

Had rear breaks replaced, price and service was great. Breaks were solid and quite after the work was done Told me I still had 15 to 20% of pad left and didn't need breaks for 6+ months. Honest, no add on charges and good service.

Thanks Greg!!

I'm a return Customer. Just brought my 2004 Corvette in. It had a slight inconsistency in the braking but only at low speed braking. After discussing the symptoms and a short test drive with the service technician Kirk, who by the way have personally owned Corvette's, he quickly theorized the issue was with the rear rotors. The issue was quickly verified by the lathe and the rotors were turned. The car now stops smooth as glass. Kirk payed great attention to detail working on my Vette. I couldn't be happier! Thanks Kirk and team!

We appreciate your business Larry.

I came here because according to my dealership, I needed a rear brake job (though there has never been a sign of anything wrong, no grinding sounds or anything). Turns out that my brakes still have a years use left on them. Brake specialists saved me from wasting a couple hundred dollars. Definitely would recommend them. Great service

Brought my new car in today because the check engine light came on. They had the car hooked up to the diagnostic machine within 10 minutes and came back to tell me it's a sensor that is covered by the factory warrantee. Recommended I take it to a GM dealership so it would be free instead of $400-500 at their shop. I appreciate the honesty! The guys at the Hutto Brake Specialists are always the guys that I have my daughters truck taken to. For the past three years they've always had time to look at her vehicle and typically fix it the same day. We first started taking it here when one day after my daughter's ex-boyfriend had "fixed" her brakes, they locked up and she couldn't drive it. They had it towed to their location and fixed the damage that he had done. They could've probably charged a lot more and I wouldn't have known the difference but I appreciated the honesty. Ever since we've been huge fans! They do just about everything and now that I've had an issue with the service department of the dealership I bought my new vehicle from; I'm going to be bringing it to Brake Specialists. Read more

Thinking the first good experience with this location was a fluke, I returned for what I believed to be a problem that would require my brakes to be replaced. Will, the manager, took the car and within 30 minutes, told me he did not see anything wrong with the brakes and only recommended a tire balance. He could have easily made up a problem and in my ignorance, I would have conceded. I then asked about 100K maintenance. Will quickly pulled up the schedule and said other than an oil change, a transmission fluid change is the only major service required. Before I even had a chance to decide, he corrected himself and said that the fluid change was at 120K and was not needed today. Again, he could have said anything but chose to tell the truth. So, after a second interaction with Will and this location, I am sold on their honesty and fantastic customer service, both of which are incredibly rare in the auto service industry.

I got an estimate from another brake shop before coming to BSP. The other shop said I needed roughly $500 worth of work done and tried very hard to convince me how dangerous it was for me to driving on my brakes as worn as they were. I went to BSP for a second opinion. They have good reviews so I went there prepared to wait for several hours and spend somewhere in the vicinity of $500. Less than 45 minutes later they showed me there's nothing wrong with my brakes and sent me on my merry way. I went into the shop convinced that I needed new brakes, and said so at the counter. They had every opportunity to get hundreds of dollars out of me but they took the honest approach instead. I can't comment on the quality of their work but their customer service is top notch.

Just went for first time today (on a Saturday). Explained a ridiculous quote I got from Lamb's (The one up near 2222 and 620) and BSP got me in and taken care of for about $100 less than Lamb's (for the same project - replacing CV and axle on Murano). Am not going to Lamb's anymore, but would go to BSP again. Will is the manager I spoke with and he was courteous and clear without any B.S. He also took a coupon they had on website without any hassle or brow-beating whatsoever making it even better. Try them out - clean shop, honest work. I would go back. (BTW, they are full service, not just brakes and/or CV joints.)

Yesterday I was on my way to a friend's home. I was only 2 blocks from my house when I braked to slow down. My foot went all the way to the floor and was barely able to stop. I was very close to Brake Specialists Plus so I crawled to their shop. I have used their services before and was happy with their work. They checked out my car and discovered the calipers were leaking, and there was no brake fluid. The repairs were made and I left a very happy and now safe, customer.

The day after I received the title to my car and after years of monthly payments service engine lit up. The first time I remember this happening. I cursed Murphy's Law then made minimizations about the severity of the problem and finally decided to take my car in and confront the strain on my already limited budget. I'd been taking my car to Brake Specialists Plus for brake checks, minor repairs and oil changes for the last few years. They had always been up front about costs and reasonable in price for service. So I felt confident when I dropped off my car and hoped for a minor issue. After a conversation with the mechanic the customer service explained the issue and asked to conduct a test on the vehicle to locate the specific area of the problem. After they conducted the test, they realized that the culprit was a forgetful driver not fully tightening the gas cap. While I was embarrassed, I was also relieved it was nothing and...maybe I don't expect mechanics to overlook forgetfulness in lieu of getting compensation...but I expected to be charged for their work. But I wasn't. Kudos in my book! Extra kudos for not giving me grief about the gas cap!!! Next time I filled up I checked the gas cap...so yeah...there's even a warning about the engine light going off if not properly tightened. Who knew?
