Austin's Best Choice for Auto Repair

After receiving an outrageous quote from another mechanic we tried out Austin's Automotive Specialists. We originally found them through the guys at Discount tire in case we needed an oil change or alignment. After talking to them and having them give the car a once over, we ended up conducting a bunch of other "routine" maintenance besides the alignment/oil change. No appointment and we had the car back in less than 6 hours. Their prices beat the other shop by almost $900, and they recommended against a couple services the other shop insisted on because they said they were unnecessary at this time. I didn't feel pressure to get any specific work done and Justin was very honest and upfront about the benefits of certain services versus others. It still cost me a pretty penny, but I feel like I received more than I paid for in service and confidence in the work. I will definitely go back to Austin's Automotive Specialists in the future. Highly recommend.

Very fast and reliable services

The technicians and mechanics at this location are always fantastic about communicating honestly with any issues going on with your car. Robert specially answered all questions I had when my AC Conductor gave out for my last visit with such genuineness and patience. It was refreshing, and the other technicians and mechanics have been no exception with other issues I’ve had with my current vehicle when I’ve brought it in to this location. Front desk staff are always friendly, informative, and helpful as well. I’ve had experiences with other auto shops in the area that won’t take the time to do that, attempt to cut corners, or leave you in the dark about your repairs- which can lead to costly other repairs in the long run or other issues you might not expect. You may pay slightly more than average for these guys, but they make it worth your penny with their service, integrity, and knowledge when it comes to working on your car.

I have gone to Austin Automotive Specialists for years now. I can't rate them highly enough or give too many compliments! They are always fair ..... no over-charging, and they will let you know what is needed and what is Not needed. Fair rates, timely service and total honesty. I will continue to go to the Parmer Lane site and have recommended them to my friends.

I went here yesterday to get a State Inspection and everyone that works here is nice, friendly, and professional. They were also very fast. It took less than 45 minutes for the entire process.

Mike and the guys did a great job getting my oil changed and installing new tires on my vehicle. I also appreciated them giving me a ride home and picking me up when the work was completed.

Staff here is always so helpful and friendly! They don't mind my questions and always explain everything they're doing and get things done quickly. Fair prices and great service! Definitely recommend
