Been here twice now to get my brakes replaced and oil change on my Subaru. They are efficient and great at communicating. I honestly don't know what would be a fair price for brake replacement, but didn't seem bad, and they didn't try to get me to "fix" anything else.

While parts and service are a bit more expensive than if you were to scrape around and see what you could find, I 100% recommend to get your car serviced here. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. On a busy day, my car was inspected for issues and the part I needed was installed within about 4 hours. They also installed an air filter free of charge, which I didn't even know I needed at the time. They also gave me the option of installing the part I needed and helped me weigh the options of installing vs not installing on that day. I felt like my money was well-spent here because I know they did a stellar job.

I love Austin Automotive Specialists on William Cannon. Andy has always been very friendly and is always able to answer my questions. He's been there a long time and really knows his stuff. Recently I went in and Justin and the rest of the team up there also helped me out. They're honest and fair.

Being someone who has been in customer service for 20+ years, I must say that the staff and manager at Austin Automotive Specialist has been truly exceptional. It is hard to find mechanics you can trust and have the consumers best interest in mind. I can honestly I have that in the location I go to frequently. There are multiple locations in my area, but the location I frequent is the one that has the best team by far. I equate it to this thought...I can get my vehicle repaired anywhere, but I choose to get it repaired where the staff and people care about the consumer experience and not about making money. Every chance I get, I recommend my location to everyone based on the level of customer service provided and how I've seen that same high level of customer service provided to other consumers. Shout out to Jerome and his team for displaying what all auto repair shops should model to be successful.

The people who work here are kind, friendly, competent and efficient. They are fair and always considerate of what I need -- i.e. a check of my mother's van's tire pressure while I am also dropping another family car off for maintenance. They do not hesitate to be helpful if they can be. Great place! Fantastic people!

They are the best when it comes to car repair and maintenance. It's great that they know European cars well and can work on any make and models. Jerome is a problem solver and he is professional. Him and his team are honest and know what they are doing. Jerome has identified and resolved many of my car issues and I never had those problems again. I trust them over many car dealerships who have ripped me off unnecessarily for repairs. This place is my go to when it comes to my car. I call them before I go in so I know that Jerome will make sure that everything my car needs is done. Five plus stars for their service and hard work.

Great place and amazing service! Everything was clean and comfortable while I waited. Jerome was very helpful and polite. Luis is knowledgeable and worked quickly & efficiently to change the oil on my Mercedes Benz. I won’t go anywhere else for my car maintenance!

I was very happy when I left. EMORY at the front desk was very nice. He was prompt at diagnosing my vehicle and letting me know the problem. I would definitely recommend going to Austin automotive and I will be back with future vehicle issues. ; )

I wish I could leave a zero star review. Doug at the counter was polite enough, and a lot of this was beyond his control, but . . . I went in to get an oil change and a state inspection. Computer for the state inspection was down. When will it be fixed? More than week. So, oil change and a couple of other things. I'm already here; I'll get the inspection another time. How bad could it be? I was the only customer, and I was there for four hours. One of the mechanics left a dark stain on my upholstery from his grease-soaked beanie. Another technician doused the stain in a chemical and tried to rub it out. He ended up pushing the stain in deeper and leaving the upholstery frayed from the abrasion. They then directed me to the place next door (Whitaker's Auto Body & Paint, whom I can't imagine would be nearly as useless as AAS). But due to the ineptitude of the AAS, I was told that stain wasn't coming out. Doug called me later (again, props to the guy, but I'm still waiting on a solution). Leaving for the third time, I got a low tire pressure warning (they had rotated my tires). They were completely unable to figure out what was wrong. My tires were fine, they said, it must be an equipment malfunction. No, the fix was pressing a very visible button (they directed me to Discount Tire for this, and I kind of felt like an idiot because it was rather obvious, but I'm not a professional). So, yeah. I got there in the morning to get everything done in maybe two hours. It took all day, and I still don't have resolution for everything. The technicians are not good at their jobs, and probably used to this sort of thing, Doug sent me to all other places to try to put out the metaphorical fires his mechanics had started. Go anywhere else.
