I took my vehicle in for a few things, but I already had an inspection, it just wasn't on the vehicle. These guys ended up flagging my vehicle for having an inspection. I don't even know how they knew it had been inspected. I took my car in for an alignment and check engine light. I won't take any of my vehicles here ever again.

Joshua, we do a free multi point inspection on every vehicle that comes into our shop. We brought up the fact that you had no inspection sticker on your windshield and noted some issues that any legitimate inspection facility would fail you on. Our effort was to assist you and point out issues you may not have been aware of. When any customer brings in a 20 year old truck in with 300,000 miles on it we try to be thorough for their benefit. I am sorry if that offended you.

I adore this place! They are easily the most pleasant mechanics I’ve ever worked with. They’ve always gone above and beyond for me and they’re incredibly honest. I went in this time because a national chain mechanic told me I needed to get my brakes replaced and they quoted me at around $500. I went here and turns out I don’t need brakes, the back brakes weren’t aligned! They fixed that, found another issue with my wheel, fixed that, and changed my oil for under $150. You just won’t find better than Austin Automotive, especially this location JT, Eddie, and the rest of the crew are the best!
