When you want to avoid dealership service centers and you have a check engine light on, where do you go? I was recommended to Austin Automotive from my oil change place since the diagnostic codes were beyond their repair capabilities. Everything was done in a timely manner (even with a parts delay) and I was pleased with the level of communication and explanation of why other services were needed beyond the engine repair from chewed up wires from some rodent. I drive my vehicle above yearly standard mileage and glad to have found a reliable place to continue to trust for future service, even my oil changes.

Everyone at Austin Automotive from the reception team to the mechanics are highly knowledgeable and skilled employees. I felt very comfortable with having them do a rather large job on my truck. The problem with my vehicle and the repairs needed were explained in detail to my husband and me. I am lucky to have broken down in a town where they do business!

Finding a good mechanic is hard. For me, they have to be honest, fair and great at what they do. Well, I have found the perfect place to get my vehicles serviced because they meet all my criteria. This all started when I had to get the front and rear alignment on my 4WD 3/4 ton suburban because I got new tires. The truck doesn't get driven much and I love that suburban because it reminds me of my family when they were young and we were all together. Well, I digress, so the service was done when they said it would be done, it was done right and it was at a fair competitive price. About 5 months later, the suburban started having problems with the check engine light. I left the truck with them and after a couple of days, they thought they fixed it. I came and got the truck and drove it a day or two but the problem was back. They did another deep dive and found more parts that needed to be replaced. I was happy to get it fixed because this has been an ongoing problem since before these professionals got involved. When it was all put together, they took it for a test drive and a new problem came up. The owner called me letting me know what was going on, that he was taking responsibility for making sure the truck was fixed correctly and I would not be paying for any work done that point forward till it fixed. Now that is what I call Honest, Fair and Damn good at what you do. Life happens as do problems but you take responsibility for the ones you created, move on and learn to never make that same mistake again unless of course you are into banging your head onto the wall. This story has a joyous ending because the suburban is driving like it did when I first got it in 1999. It is like a new truck I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting to work with Honest, Fair and Damn good at what you do!

Once again Andy, Justin, and all of the staff at my Austin Automotive Specialists William Cannon location have greatly impressed me ! I am always appreciative, grateful, and thankful for the quality consideration, service, and value that I receive from their shop. My wife's vehicle startled me as I was afraid that it would stall, in traffic. I was immediately relieved, once I was able to get the van to their shop, because I knew that the repairs would be expertly completed in a timely manner, the vehicle would again be safe on the road, and at the best value.
