The Austin Automotive Specialist where great the customer service was good and my car had a lot of problems he let me know up front that it could become expensive it all depends on what he fine I am very happy with my car besides needing tires it runs great thank you so much I’m very grateful.

I just needed freon added, they tried to charge me 250 dollars

I am sorry you feel the charge was going to be too much. If you are low on Freon you first need to know why as to not waste money. The last thing you need is to adds Freon only to have it leak back out. You also do not know how much to add unless you know how much is left if any. The proper rout, which is what we were recommending, is to evacuate the system to know what amount you had. Then with a vacuum on the system you test for leaks. if none are found you then refill the system with the proper amount. Just adding Freon without first determining these issues lead to more issues and expense.
