I had high hopes to get competent service at Austin Automotive Specialists. After all I had done my due diligence, they were highly rated and located near my home. I was treated kindly upon delivering my car to the shop and promised a quote within 24 hours. 6 days later I still didn't have a quote. I was told a part was not a available and they were unable to quote until they could find the part. I started researching and found the part. Granted, there was some confusion as there were two different parts listed for my year and make. I was able to confirm availability and which part was needed by contacting a a local dealer parts counter and providing my VIN#. Unfortunately Melissa was lacking in communications with me throughout the process. I'm reading between the lines, but I think they were in over their head with my repair. I wish they just would have said so. Sadly their lack of directness results in this 1 star review.
