We love JT and the mechanics (especially Eddie) at Austin Automotive in Leander. Try not to go there on Wednesday because a step in manager works, and it's not that they are bad, but they aren't JT. JT gets to know you personally and makes sure all your needs are taken care of. I went to a different place last Wednesday for my state inspection because I knew JT wasn't working and they told me I needed all kinds of stuff done (I was alone with two kids). The man didn't pass or fail me ( he said because he didn't know how long I would have to pay for all the work that needed to be done.) My husband and I agreed to just have JT and his crew have a look at it and we passed no problem. Now, mind you, we have had plenty of work done here and these guys are not going to lie to you. Cannot say enough about JT and these mechanics. Couldn't ask for better!!!

VERY professional, a LOT of attention to what I needed done and to Covid era cleanliness. Staff is so friendly! I’ve been here 3-4 times and am always pleased. The ONLY issue is that the waiting area could be covered since we have to wait outside. Rain or sun in Texas summer. I was wearing a rain poncho to sit and wait in a bit of drippy mist. It IS shady though under the nice tree so maybe a big umbrella?
